All Nighter Baby…
So, I hear that you are multi-tasking right now, as you both read and watch the clip above. WHat is up with this “multi-tasking”? I mean, does it really help us finish more things at the same time, or does it have a false mask that makes us believe that we are finish things. I mean to say, even I find myself trying to multi-task by doing homework and listening to music AND watching t.v. at the same time. The odd part about this is that I even find myself talking to other people while these things are happening. While I agree that listening to music while watching tv is extraneous, I can find out that there are so many people that do this. Most people actually watch tv while doing homework. Frankly, I’m not one of those people who do that. I wish I could do that, but I can’t. It just wont happen. But anyways, chances are that you are one of these people who do such things, and while your brain is so good at doing these things, you’re brain sometimes needs to relax. I read that, like your body, you brain needs some resting time to recover, and lock deals with that memory section of your brain. Ever pulled an all-nighter?(not sleeping the whole night AND the whole next day, for those of you who lack the correct definition of an all-nighter) Well, let me tell you, I have pulled several all-nighters, and found myself fully awake the next morning going to class and actually paying more attention than normal. What is it that makes me do this? Well, its a little thing called adrenaline, and COFFEE. ![]()
