80's Nostalgia

Never gonna give you up!

Thursday, May 31st, 2007

Here’s a little lick that my dad use to play in the car when we drove around the mean streets of New York. The only time I missed this song was when we rode the motorcycle which sadly, has no tape deck. But now you can get a motorcycle with an mp3 player! How advance and deadly are we! But seriously, mad props to Rick Astleyon his “boss” song of the 80’s.

I don’t know how many years I’ve gone without hearing the words “Trapper Keeper”. I remember mine like it was yesterday. I was the one with the super cool F-16s on it. So cool. Yeah that’s right, cooler than yours! On with the video!

Talk about laugh out loud funny! LOL for the Americans and Lawl for the Canucks. But either way, strap on your lollerskates and get to laughing!

For those of you too damn young to remember the show The Jetsons, get informed!

Yes there’s a time where we all think we’re the greatest artists on the planet. And if you’re, bless you man because it’s not easy. I may be good at going to the store and buying the supplies but I’d need the help of a blender to product any sort of “art” at all. But here’s some nostalgia for the children of the 80’s out there. Oh and give Bob Ross some credit because he was good. Family Guy style.

She took the midnight train going anywhere…

So being the new guy at work, I get a phone call from my wife and her ringer is set to “ring ring, Incoming call!”. It also turns out that one of my co-workers has the same ring tone and it’s really annoying we he or I get calls when standing within twenty feet of each other! So in my never ending search for the perfect ring tone, I’ve stumbled upon yet another Family Guy moment crossing my life path and it must be shared with all of you.

Will someone bring back the 80’s?

Saturday, April 14th, 2007

So I know the 80’s have been brought back in some form or another, such as care bears, rainbow bright gear, etc. But where happened to all the great shows I use to watch like thunder cats and Silver Hawks and especially kick ass shows like the A-team. Yeah so I was probably way to young to be watching Mr. T and the gang blow the crap out of terrorists but eh, the FCC never developed television guidelines back then so yay me for teh win! So you can’t have the 80’s back but Family Guy will bring it to you in the form of the A-team. Enjoy!

About Watching Family Guy

When not watching Family Guy, blogging about Family Guy or talking about Family Guy until he gets blue in the face, George Gonzalez, is in fact, a Family Guy. Happily trotting through life (with sometimes his own theme song playing in the background) with his two cats, wife, and almost two year old son, George makes an ass of himself to the amusement of his friends and family on a daily basis. So keep on reading on and see if you can separate this Family Guy from the Family Guy!
