Family Guy Vs. Simpsons

Friday, September 21st, 2007

The Simpons is probably one of the best classic comedies on tv. I usually dont watch the Simpons because Family Guy just doesn’t seem as dry as the Simpsons. The Simpons are a good show, no doubt, but I just prefer watching stewie better than the maggie, who doesn’t talk at all. Stewie and his hatred for Lois is better because its just more natural to watch. What else can I say? Seth McFarlane does a good job, and no matter how hard he tries to avoid scenes that the Simpsons have already covered, hes accidentally going to run into them anyways. We all go to the same university, that doesn’t mean that we can’t have the same profession or take the same courses, right? Anyways, just watch the video, and see hows it running.

Family Guy 2007 Emmys

Thursday, September 20th, 2007

Who doesn’t want to be famous? I dont think I know anyone who wouldn’t want to be famous. We all want the rich, famefull, and popular life. This is almost a faux idea because not all of the famous people are rich, because for example, the artists who make their earnings from making cds, are being ripped off because not all of the people in the world are honest and actually buy their cds. Internet is such a good place for information, but it can also be used for bad things, just like any other thing in the world. I’m not to infer that I’m not guilty of the mentioned idea, but it is a bad thing to do probably. Regardless, all of those people who are beautiful sitting at the Emmy’s, who I’m jealous of, should probably admire this little video of Stewie and Brian.

Its about time…

Monday, September 17th, 2007

How was my day you ask me? Oh, it was just dandy; the sun was out, it wasn’t too hot, nor was it too cold. There was the right amount of wind, and it just made you look like a hero if you stood in the right way. Pathetic? nah… it was absolutely cool. My workout just happened to be nice, although it may not show tomorrow or even next week, it felt nice.

But regardless, who would’ve thought that Stewie would understand the intricacies of love. Haha, he’s just so wicked crazy like that. Stewie probably wants to be called cookie, but hes kinda cute like that. Whoa, what is wrong with me? Oh, stewie, you have life just the way it is.

What’s on tv: Family Guy?

Friday, September 14th, 2007

I just hate those commercials that come in the way when you are watching your favorite weekday night shows. Like, this one day, I was watching Family Guy, and then a commercial came on… and I was like, ” Hey, what the heck, who put that commercial there?” It just bothers me because I own some of the DVD versions of family guy, and in those DVD’s there are no commercials, and thats why tv sucks. But, not as much when Family Guy is on. I’m supposin they are there to make money, but what the heck, why dont they make money on some other show thats NOT family guy.
You might want to check out some of the commercials that family guy has… now they are worth being paid for… haha

English 101

Tuesday, September 11th, 2007

Of all the things that happen in life. English class has to be one of the worst things. It just ruins your day when you learn that you have to read about 30 pages of boring articles conveying points of how media affects the children and the parents in modern society. And then after the read, its absolutely nerve-wrecking to write about who the author was “really” talking to: persay, the audience. I think that english is one of the worst classes to take especially when the field that I’m going into doesn’t even deal with english. I’ve spoken correct english for basically my whole life, why do I need a class to take english when I can pass it easily.

Family Guy, I just realized this, deals with a lot of good English. And then language that it uses just makes it better and humourous for the rest of us, yet some of us do not realize or even appreciate the time and effort put into the lines of Family Guy, as well as many of the other programs on television. Regardless, my point here is that English is a killer course, and anyone who doesn’t have to take that class should probably avoid it at all costs.Check out how hard it is to teach the Brits the american english, while improper, much more natural.

Family Guy Sport Stewie

Monday, September 10th, 2007

The oddest thing about our dorm-hallway is that we actually have a board/wall contributed merely to Chuck Norris. Its good to see that our hallway is the only doing contributed to that. So, the other day, I was just watching this one guy play basketball, and he was damn good. He was hitting 3s nonstop, and this one time he even got undercut and made the 3 while landing on all 4 of his extension. Anyone this good has got to be talented right? I dont know if he can reach the rim, but if he can hit those 3s like that, he’s more than likely able to get rim.

There was a point in time in my life where I could get the top of the rim with the edge of my finger, and how proud was I of it. It just felt good to know that I could get rim my junior year of high school, even though I sucked majorily playing on the varsity team. Oh well. Sometimes you just gotta know when to own the court and be proud of it, kinda like how Stewie does below… well, sorta…

That’s the Plan!

Friday, September 7th, 2007

What a day it has been? There has been a lot of education going around me lately, its really weird because this summer has been completely off of education. What is education good for anyways? Who cares about the fact that you can find the slope between you points on a graph? I really don’t think that the people who actually teach or give you a job gives shit about whether or not you know how to solve a graph, or find the y-intercept. What they really care about is the fact that you can simply finish the course. It shows that you can finish something that you started. It shows authority in what you can and cannot do.

If you can start and finish some big project that the boss assigns you, then you are well set for a career in real life. So thats the story behind that, but there are still some aspects that are not discussed, while you are thinking about these undiscussed ideas, watch this to liven up the nights…

Family Guy Media

Thursday, September 6th, 2007

It has come to my attention, not recently, but generally, that media has far more grasps on the little kids than the generic parents. No matter how hard those parents try to protect their kids from the revolving media around their kids, the kids are just going to fall into the big black whole that media creates. The parents, in fact, should just let their kids make their own decisions as little kids because if they don’t learn how to make their decisions as little kids, they are not going to know how to make decisions as older teenagers.

I’m not pro-media, but I’m just stating something that should not be missed during the teenager years. As for Stewie, I think he’s too affected by the media, and this show is a good example of how media affects people. Of course, this show is rated higher than a pg-13 - so, little kids can’t watch it - but it does good to the morals and virtues of American life. Enjoy! laugh a little will ya?

From personal experience, I’ve learned that because my parents restricted me from a social life all throughout middle and high school, I’ve become less social overall. I can do things that other normal kids can do, but it doesn’t feel as comfortable. I’ve learned how to cope with being more social, and media has affected me - greatly - with this aspect of my life, but I still feel as if I’ve been ripped off through my high school social life; and frankly, it just sucks, I could’ve have the potential of being more popular, and learning things about myself that I didn’t up until college. What a bummer right?

Family Guy Random

Friday, August 31st, 2007

Don’t you just love it when random things pop into your mind, and for some obscure reason you decide to just say whats on your mind. Well, there was this one time where I was just surfing the web, and all of a sudden, I really wanted a poptart. I wanted a ‘Smores poptart. I couldnt believe the urge I had for that poptart, it was strong. But unlike Brian, I’ve never actually got bored enough to dress up as someone and act out their lines by myself. The keywords here would be “by myself.”

Here’s a little clip thats just randomly put together for all of you bored fans out there.

So, what do I really do when I’m bored? I have no idea, most of the time, I just wait it out or find something to keep me occupied while some other activity pops up. Sometimes, even going into a random chatting website, and spilling your thoughts there help out. Those few things, or YOUTUBE, right?

Ahh! College.

Wednesday, August 29th, 2007

What a rush! Its finally time to go to college, many things running through my mind. Who are going to be my friends? Where are they going to be? Where am I going to hang out? Am I going to hang out? Oh, it is just a rush. Moving in to a place that you’ve never been before really stimulates the way you live. Its almost as much a rush as that one time that Brian decided to get high while working on his police job.
Oh, that is not to say that I’m not going to miss my high school friends because I know that I will, and I know that at this very moment I really do. I can feel all of the memorable times I’ve had with all of the beautiful relationships that I’ve had. Anyways, here is something I discovered. Check it.
