Upside Down, Turn it All Around

by Staff Writer

Season 2 Episode 2 of Family Guy entails Peter’s super-religios father when he cause troube by living with the Family. Peter, as a failure that he is, tries to get the pride and love from his father when he comes to live with the Griffins. Peter convinces Francias, his father, to stay with the Family because Peter wants his approval of a sense of “family.”

However, Francias, being a Catholic that he is, hates Lois and is against the marriage between Lois and Peter, and thus, tours the hate to Peter instead of just both of them. When all else fails, Peter goes to get the Pope to help him, but being the Pope that he is, the only way to get the Pope is if Peter “kidnaps, captures, steals” him. Of course, does he get caught? Do the police get angry? Does the paraplegic neighbor interfere?

I have to say again: Will Meg get the worst of it? Will she suffer the most, being a teenager girl. Chances are that she will. Yes indeed she will. Will chris still be confused as he always is? Will the closet Monkey get the best of Chris? Will Stewie take over the world? Will Stewie kill Lois, and worst of all, will Brian finally finish that damn novel that he’s been working on for 3 years now?

TBS: Very Funny

by Staff Writer

Technology, these days, has taken over the world. Or mine anyways. Not having television never meant much for me until I came upon the fascination of Family Guy. Then of course, it grew into much more than just a fascination: it was an obsession. Luckily, being socially coherent, I was able to get around to grab onto a copy of the Seasons of Family Guy, and eventually watch them all. However, it was not necessary for me to have a DVD player or even a tv to watch them.

Computers in our household were more than capable of playing the DVD’s and thats how I got into watching Family Guy. However, since TBS was a channel playing the shows, I thought I would go on their site to see if they had live uploaded versions on their site. Sadly enough, failed again I did. In time though, I managed to take a quiz on the site testing my awareness of the show: Family Guy. This trivial quiz was more than I was expecting.

Anyways, the point is that Family Guy, and so many other shows, don’t even need to be aired on television anymore. When the internet has grew to be so much more than just entertainment, the new shows are immediately update to the free file hosting sites, maybe 6 to 10 hours the shows are aired. I’m not sure how “they” do it, or why, I can be sure that these pirated versions of Family Guy episodes are the real thing. NO commercials, no breaks, and at your own leisure time.

TBS, and all televised programs: Beware, the internet is your enemy, and the people are the messengers to your death. A slow and elongated death, but yet, a death.

Family Guy

Soon after Lois’ aunt passes away, Peter Griffin and the family inhert her mansion. Lois, being the unselfish little girl that she used to be, can not wait to go back to her own home to live with her comforts there, but Peter acts otherwise. Taking advantage of every part of the mansion he can, Peter grows into liking the mansion, rich and pop. lifesytle, indeed, only to miss it towards the end.

With Brian’s help, Peter starts to get used to the life in a high society, but as usual, Peter over does everything and gets himself into problems that he cannot deal with. He does a little bit of breaking here, a little of nudging there, and by the time he’s done, he finds himself owing the Historical Society around 100 million dollars.

In this Episode of “Peter, Peter, Caviar Eater” hosted in 1999, watch Peter as he faces life to the fullest in his own way, and as Meg gets owned (ahem) served by even the royal of people.

Luckily enough for those of you reading, I’ve found a Rapidshare for this site as well: I encourage those of you interested to visit and maybe even download the second season episode 1 FOR FREE to watch at your own leisure time. Here are the Rapidshare Links to Season 2 Episode 1:

Rapidshare Family Guy: Get your Season 1 Family Guy Free

by Staff Writer

If some of you dont know, Rapidshare is a free file hosting server. Basically, it lets you upload as many files as you want and lets you keep it there for a minimum of 90 days. However, if someone does not download what you have uploaded in the 90 days, the file gets deleted. So, whats the significance of this?

Well, these days programs such as uTorrent, Limewire, and even Frostwire are involved heavily with file uploading. Torrents especially upload much more than they download. The actual law for download states that a user may download files but would be abusing copyright violations if the user re-distributes. So, that means when an user is uploading a file, they are technically “re-distributing” the program to other users. This constitutes a copyright violation. However, what if there was a way to not upload files, yet still recieve the same download speeds as those programs? What if there was no risk in getting caught?

This is where rapidshare comes in. With its easy-to-upload firmware, it is now much more convenient to get things that you want. Also, warez-bb.org is a huge contributor to this rapidshare because since rapidshare does not have its own search engine, forums such as pbforum.org and warez-bb.org search rapidshare for them.

So, while rapidshare exists, I thought I would find some family guy stuff to download. The only problem you will have downloading is that after your download is done, you will have to wait a certain amount of time before you can resume the next download, unless you are a premium user of course. Blood Work

by Staff Writer

Several good things about blood make it unique. First of all, its a primary holder of DNA, and DNA is what makes all us unique; hence, it makes us unique. Most people are unaware that blood is technically a tissue composed of blood plasma and blood cells. Of course, they are not seperated, the combination of blood plasma and blood cells make up the structure of blood. Why is this important you ask? Well, there are certain things that need to be rationialized before laughing at. So, what we are going to do is rationalize blood, before we make fun of how much of it is actually present in the series of Family Guy.

According to wikipedia, 55 % of the blood’s volume is composed of Red Blood cells. Because blood sustains what we call life, it is associated with many beliefs. For example, there are several movies in which people relate to each other as “blood brothers” meaning that one cannot live without the other, and which more than often refers to people in terms of ancestry rather than marriage.

So, Let us count how many times blood is taken from either the chicken or Peter…

Okay, while I thought that the scene involved more blood, I only saw one part where the blood oozed out of the chicken: it was when Peter was jamming the photo copying machine on the chicken’s head. Regardless, if you would like to see some more blood work done by the Family Guy, I KNOW that this one has much more in it. Try This

And if that is not enough for you, I’m not sure what will be other than real life blood. Hm… I can hear Peter calling me to ask if he would ever like to use a coupon again? Hopefully this time he does not have to go back to getting into another cruented fight.

Firefox: Stewie’s Thoughts

by Staff Writer

If you click here you will find an image, in which you will have to enlarge to get a closer look at, that incidentally states that a school in Newville Pennsylvania issued a detention to a kid for using the firefox browser. Sadly and embarrassingly enough to say, I cracked up in laughter when this boy was issued a detention for clarifying to his teacher that firefox was a better browser.

There are 2 things there that went wrong:

1. The teacher issuing the detention has no care about the technological world that one day will overtake him/or.

2. A misjudgement call occurred to an innocent student.

The worst part about this case is that he is in 11th grade. I can’t imagine getting a detention in the 11th grade, and even just for using firefox. So, just to release the anger that is built up inside, I remember of the time where Brian did not give Stewie his money back; boy oh boy, did he get a beating or what. Its such a wonder what a little baby can do, as much to cause as much harm to Brian as he did that day.

For those of you who have not seen the video, here it is. Before you decide to happily left mouse click, I would make sure that any little child, or any grown adult is around, unless of course, you think he or she may also find the video funny:

But, as public viewers, what can we do? Laugh! Thats almost what everyone should do.

A Wizard of Oz

by Staff Writer

I would like to thank 4chan for this picture, because it just so happens that 4chan.org is a random forum site that holds the weirdest photos, and I warn you it contains some nudity, (actually a LOT of nudity, here is your WARNING!) Overall, it is interesting indeed.

Cannot_Pass.jpg

Christmas is that time of the year where everyone is happy, joy fills through the heart of many kids almost over excited about the presents that they will recieve. However, what bout the older children, or, some of us? Being an adult never works for the best, there are always things they have to do, errands to run, work to be done, and so much more. So, where do they get their break? or are they immune to getting a break.

Peter Griffin doesn’t think so; Peter will take an advantage he has of becoming a child, or so I believe. If that snarky McFarlane guy was here, I would take more than an opportunity to ask him. Unfortunately, he is not, so I can only assume that he would think so. Peter holds the responsibilty of an adult, but does not necessarily take the responsibilty of an adult.

Whereas Stewie acts in the highest manner of being mature, he in fact is not. His constant persistancy of trying to take over the world completely undermines his behaviour as a baby in the family. Even though he shows higher manners than Chris, he can have the same responses as a normal child. He can, even in his own way, be his own Wizard of Oz. What say you?

Digg it or not?

by Staff Writer

Digg.com has arised a certain interest in me: it makes me go to that site to find the most interesting things that are available out on the internet. In fact, it has made me, in a way, dig the site. It came to my surprise when I found this interesting picture. Guess who?

It has come to my attention that there is a certain person who shares certain similarities with Peter Griffin. While this is not meant to be a joke, it is something that deserves the attention that it has gotten before. I do not know what I did not see this before: a person in real life looks like Peter Griffin. He goes by the name of Justin Blair Spaeth. Unfortunately, I’m quite unaware if he knows that he is quite alive on the internet. One would assume that he knows, but I can not be sure.

Sometimes I wonder if Seth McFarlane knows of this occurence: is he aware that Justin Balir Spaeth exists? Anyone, if he does not know about the guy, someone should tell him. Somethings that I wonder about this Justin character is whether or not he is funny, dumb, smart, nerdy, or what? Or even better, how does he react with his acute similarities to Family Guy’s Peter Griffin.

Judgement must be passed: we need to find out whether or not this guy is real. Reading some blogs has convinced me that this character, Spaeth, does not in fact exist, however, there are other blogs which do the exact opposite: Justin Blair Spaeth exists. According to the Digg.com comments, there are responses that say that some people have gone to school with him.

Family Guy Moment

by Staff Writer

Picture_Unrelated.jpg

If there is one thing that is noticible about the Family Guy episodes, it would be this: almost every scene there is someone who is referring to the past. For example, at the beginning of a scene, a character would realize that there is a problem or some non-related thing, and then Stewie would have some snarky comment about what Megan’s problem is and the Stewie would say, “Well, thats almost like that one time that I…” and then the frame would go back to that time.

It was a friend of mine who remarked that this kind of humour was not funny because it was artifcial. By artifical, I think he meant that the humour was simply created for the sake of the show, and not simply because it was funny. Lets use the show “Everyone Loves Raymond” as an example. Funny things would happen because of how Raymond would respond to a certain case, i.e., his uncomfortableness with admitting that Ray’s wife cooking is terrible. This remains funny because it is not artifical, it is actually happening, while in Family Guy, an entire new situation is created for the sake of being humorous.

But then I began to think, what is humourous to me may not be funny to someone else because I imagine humor as a reason to laugh. Weird as it is, its true: Family Guy is funny because I look for it to be funny, and it fulfills what I looks for. Whereas Everyone Loves Raymond is just instinctly funny, I don’t have to look for it to be funny, it just is.

Then again, I think, maybe Family Guy’s comedy is just more complex than one can understand, and Raymond’s comedy is just very Blunt. All in all, I find both shows funny, when I get time to watch them that is. But what is more hilarous, Family Guy or Everyone Loves Raymond? What do not you tell me?

Megan is a woman?

by Staff Writer

Now, I’m sure many of you have seen this picture, and laughed at the response someone has written in the dotted line above. But of course, there has to be someone who is against. Hm… this reminds me of a very special case in Family Guy: Megan.

Megan is the only girl in the show who is being constantly put down, and why is this so? Does Seth McFarlane’s output of Megan in the show truly display what he thinks of women. Well, of course not, Megan is just a mistake, a joke, in the show, and also something that Peter uses as a punching bag and someone to blame one at random times. When things go wrong, its raining at the wrong time, Brain pees in the carpet, HEY, lets just blame megan.

Oh it fits so well though, the constant depressive loser in the family is also the one who is hated the most by Peter. Remembering an episode where Peter and Brian were yelling at each other, Meg juts in by saying something along the lines of “Would you two(Brian and Peter) just shut up?” And histerically, Peter and Brian stop yelling only to comment on why Meg was so mad.

I can’t imagine living in a life such as Megs. Glad to hear that his only happens on the cartoon show of Family Guy and not in real life. Or does it? If it does, which it probably does, it’s probably not the most mentioned news story.

About Watching Family Guy

When not watching Family Guy, blogging about Family Guy or talking about Family Guy until he gets blue in the face, George Gonzalez, is in fact, a Family Guy. Happily trotting through life (with sometimes his own theme song playing in the background) with his two cats, wife, and almost two year old son, George makes an ass of himself to the amusement of his friends and family on a daily basis. So keep on reading on and see if you can separate this Family Guy from the Family Guy!
