Signs You May Have Missed: “Saving Private Brian”

by Staff Writer

I’m thinking that this will be a really cool feature. During The Family Guy there’s always those signs that have something hilarious written on them, yet you never get enough time to read them.

With the amazing ability to turn my computer into a DVR with a simple software program, I can now record the shows and take the screencaps with my technically advanced “Print Screen” button on my computer. Using Paint I can crop them and then paste them up on my site.

Putting those two things together, I’m gonna do posts after every recap with the funny signs you may have missed, and now you’ll have time to READ all of them :)

Here’s three from last night’s episode:

Writing on the boat from the Army recruitment video.

Sign outside of the recruitment office.

Sign outside the Grammy’s.

So I really like the idea of this feature. Some feedback would be great. Any other features you’d like to see implemented in The Family Guy Blog?

What’s funny about the sign that was in the Army recruiter’s office is that later in the episode you see a couple of soldiers holding hands and even a super homosexual commanding officer (C.O.).

What was funny was when Stewie’s gay side peeked out again. Him and Brian were thinking of a way to get out of Iraq and so they decided to show off their gayness to everybody. They start making out and some soldiers walk by hand in hand. Then the gay C.O. sees the two of them having fun and asks if there is room for more. To which Stewie answers, “Hell ya!”

It is so much fun looking for things in the background of Family Guy.

  2. BB Says:

When Stewie said that “Hell yea!” I burst out in laughter. I literally was tearing from it. Very funny.

  3. Aaron Says:

Lucas: I know I loved the “Hell Ya!” part. I think they are mixing the ‘gay’ Stewie and ‘evil’ Stewie pretty well now.

BB: Agreed! THanks for stopping by man. So does anyone have any suggestions about some other features we can have on this blog?

    Aaron.

  4. Lucas Says:

I think that we need to definitely advertise this blog more. There are plenty of people out there who love Famliy Guy and they need to join our force.

  5. Aaron Says:

Go forth Lucas! Go forth and recruit!

    Aaron.

  6. Polly Says:

Hilarious! I have several friends who are avid Family Guy watchers… I will turn them on to your blog, Aaron!

    Aaron.

  8. Lucas Says:

    way to go Polly

  9. Aaron Says:

    Lucas, you do the same!
